Today we will be identifying the errors in a campsite and be playing hide and seek. Please wear Class A. Hope to see you there. Also if you have friends that might like camping please try inviting them to take a look at our troop. Hope to see you there!  

Have a friend that would like to enjoy fun in the outdoors, hiking and camping activities, learn fun skills and leadership? Invite them to join Troop 1613 and their National and Orange County Council membership costs are complimentary for their first year! Open to any youth boys age 11 -17 that join in 2026. Please invite them to an upcoming meeting!   

Save the date for our campout to Casper's Wilderness Park in San Juan Capistrano Friday 3/27 - Sunday 3/29. We have an awesome group campsite reserved nestled in the trees and fun hiking trails. We will be doing preparations for Camporee and also have our next Golden Spoon competition. Please see attached activity consent form which must be completed by the Scout and signed by their parent. Once all sign-ups are confirmed, we will send out an email with more campout details (e.g. food, what to bring, etc.) We look forward to having you join us!    

Save the Dates 4/24 - 4/26! The annual Canyons District Camporee in 2026 will be a Top Gun themed event called Top Scout Flight Camp. More details to come in the coming weeks.                         

Save the dates: May 29–31! We’re heading to Lake Jennings in Lakeside, CA, just outside San Diego. Enjoy amazing hilltop views from the campground overlooking the lake, along with kayaking, fishing, and boating. More details coming soon!                 

We are prepping for camporee by making tripods and raising flag poles. We will also be meal planning for Caspers Wilderness campout. Please wear Class A. Have a nice week!
