Hey Troop 1613 Scouts! We're hittin' the trail for an overnight backpacking trip to Cedar Glen Trail Camp near Mt. Baldy 6/20 - 6/21. To reserve your spot, sign up by 6/15 and turn in your completed permission slip (attached) and $20 camping fee. Look forward to fun and memorable weekend on the trail with you!

On Monday 6/15 at 7pm, we will be having a special Court of Honor. All Scouts and their families are invited to attend. First we will recognize all of the amazing Scouts and adults that participated at Camporee with awards, patches, rank advancements and camping nights awards. Then we will have a special recognition for Hugo Jin and Duncan MacArthur for achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. We look forward to seeing you all there!       

Have a friend that would like to enjoy fun in the outdoors, hiking and camping activities, learn fun skills and leadership? Invite them to join Troop 1613 and their National and Orange County Council membership costs are complimentary for their first year! Open to any youth boys age 11 -17 that join in 2026. Please invite them to an upcoming meeting!             

We will be learning all of the knots such as taught line hitch, bowline, two half hitches, sheet bend. We will also be playing games like tug-o-war. Many scouts have their summer break started, so we will be transitioning into wearing Class B instead of Class A. Hope to see you there! 

Today is memorial day! That means we will be taking a break hope everyone have a nice break with their families and friends. However, there is a PLC on Wednesday May 27 at 7:00 PM on Zoom. Mr. Mouleart will send out the meeting link. Have a nice break! 

Hello Troop 1613, I am excited to announce the upcoming workdays for my Eagle Scout Service Project! I will be leading the construction of two nursery tables with protective cages for the Chino Hills State Park, and I would greatly appreciate your help to make this project a success.
