On Saturday, September 19, from 8:30am–11:00 a.m., Troop 1613 will be participating in California Coastal Cleanup Day! Scouts and their families are invited to join us as we give back to our community by helping clean up Huntington Beach. After the cleanup, we’ll enjoy a campfire with food and dessert treats, and families are welcome to stay and enjoy the beach for the rest of the day. We’ll meet at the Huntington Beach parking lot at 21579 Pacific Coast Hwy., Huntington Beach, CA 92648, near the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway. Please wear a hat, sunblock, class B t-shirt and bring a bottle of water, gloves and a bucket or bag for collecting trash. Come enjoy a fun morning at the beach while doing a great service to help keep our local coastline clean!
