Calling all Scouts! Are you ready for a "Rockin" good time with Troop 1613?! Don't miss out on the final campout for 2016 to Joshua Tree National Park 11/18 - 11/20! We will be camping at the Indian Cove Campground where the amazing jumbo rocks and boulders were formed by volcanic activity millions of years ago. Also, get your dutch ovens warmed up because we are also having the next patrol cooking competition to create a tasty dessert for Saturday night of the campout to win the coveted Golden Spoon award!

Attention Troop 1613 Scouts and parents! The Webelos Transition Expo is coming up on Tuesday, November 15th from 7 - 8:30pm at the Yorba Linda Community Center. This is a great opportunity to meet many new prospective Troop 1613 Scouts and their families and share Troop 1613 information, experiences and our cool new video montage that Jack Griffin created. Let's have a great turnout! Please wear class A uniform and merit badge sash to the event and arrive by 6:30pm to help set-up.

Sign Up Now! Intermediate Backpacking Trip Little Jimmy Trail Camp 10/15 - 10/16

Get your hiking boots, pack and 10 essentials ready as now is the time to sign up for the Intermediate backpacking trip to Little Jimmy Trail Camp in the Angeles National Forest. We will head out early on Saturday morning 10/15, backpack from Crystal Lake to Little Jimmy Trail Camp, set up tents, then do a short hike up to the Mt. Islip summit for amazing views and to see the remains of an old stone cabin built by George Islip, one of the early pioneers of the 1880's. There is also a fresh water Little Jimmy Spring near the trail camp.
