If you are planning to attend Camp Chawanakee, your final payments are due Monday night. Please check in with Mr. Bacon to make sure your account is settled. If you have not yet turned in your medical forms, please be sure to get those completed. Remember, every person (dads included) needs to have a physical before camp. Medical forms will be due in early June. Finally, a permission slip is attached in case you have not completed one yet.
Congratulations to the scouts and leaders of Troop 1613! At last weekend's all-district Camporee, Troop 1613 won best 24-pole gateway and the top honor of the weekend, best campsite!
An email was sent to all Troop families on Friday, May 4th regarding needs for the Merit Badge day we are hosting on May 19th. We are asking for your help. We have a number of items that we simply need to borrow for the day, as well as many items that we need donated. Additionally, we need help with set up and tear down. The more donations that we can secure, the less money that we will have to spend on supplies, and thus, the more money that we will raise for our Troop. Please click the "read more" button below to access the link.
The last date to turn in money for Scout O Rama booklets is at the regular meeting on Monday, May 7th. All money needs to be turned in by this date. Please be sure to sell all of the booklets that you have checked out and bring the money to the meeting. If you have already sold your booklets, you can turn in the money at the upcoming meeting. Scouts are responsible for the books that they checked out.
It is time to sell Scout O Rama books to support OCBSA. Each scout is asked to sell two books minimum to help benefit the Boy Scouts and our Troop. The cost of the books is $10. The books are improved this year and have many money saving coupons inside.
